How do I benefit from a local company?

Can those big national security companies have a vested interest in you? Monitoring is out of state, so reaching someone to help or answer questions is difficult.

A large company’s response to service requests is much slower. Can you feel safe without your security system for that long? You will probably find that the sales and technical staff have recently joined the company and have no industry experience.  Do you want to place the safety and security of your family in inexperienced hands?

What do our competitors mean by "free" equipment?

Nothing is free. But, the truth is, when you get one of those big national companies as your security company, they are leasing  you the equipment. The price rises every year and it never stops. So, you are not rewarded for long-term loyalty. Instead, you are basically penalized for it. These companies require you to sign a 3-5 year inflexible service contract.

If you are unsatisfied or move, they do not release you from the payment agreement.

However, we don't believe in penalizing our customers when they've been so loyal to us. Instead, we work with you to develop a complete needs analysis of your premises. Then we recommend components to maximize the safety of you and your family from threats of fire, intruders and loss/damage of property.

What's included in the equipment cost?

Open to Intrusion. The “free” equipment our competitors offer usually does not include telephone line-seizure jacks.

They must be purchased for an additional cost and if not, your system is easily compromised. You need an additional RJ31x jack and it will cost an additional $50.

A Safer System. ATA includes all essential equipment such as a telephone line-seizure jack to make sure the system is not easily disabled by an intruder.

Without a properly installed telephone connection, your system will not operate if any telephone is off-hook.  And any alarm signal can be aborted by an intruder simply by lifting any phone. Contact us to learn more about our systems.

How competitive are the monthly monitoring rates?

Those big security companies have a higher monthly service fees that continue to increase add up to a large expense. “Free” systems generally carry higher monthly monitoring costs that have increased significantly over time.

What does ATA do for service calls?
